Iranian-backed Houthi rebels claimed a missile launch toward Israel early Saturday, their first since the war in the Middle East started. The Israeli military said it intercepted the projectile. The attack came as a surprise for Israel as authorities estimated that Houthis would only join in the war if a ceasefire agreement was on the table, FRANCE 24's Noga Tarnopolsky said, adding that "for now it's certainly an expanding conflict".
